# Business verification

While all Zyte API features are available to every customer, the following
features are disabled by default:

- [Custom script deployment](../ide/index.md#zapi-deploy-script)
- [Setting ipType to residential](features.md#zapi-residential)
- [CDP headless browser](cdp.md#cdp)

Unless you are on a [free trial](../pricing.md#zapi-trial), you can enable these
features by completing our business verification: a short form about your
organization and how you intend to use the data you collect.

> If you are on an [Enterprise plan](../pricing.md#enterprise-plans), you have
> already completed business verification.

Until your application is approved, the disabled features remain unavailable,
and requests that rely on them fail. For example, if you connect a Playwright or
Puppeteer script to the [CDP headless browser](cdp.md#cdp) before completing
business verification, the connection is refused with an HTTP `403` status.
See [Errors](cdp.md#cdp-errors) for details. Once your application is approved, the same
script works without any changes.

## Starting your application

You complete the form in the [Zyte dashboard](https://app.zyte.com/). When you try to use a feature
that requires business verification, such as the [CDP headless browser](cdp.md#cdp), the dashboard prompts you to fill it in.

## What the form asks

The form collects your organization’s registration details, along with a few
questions about how you intend to use the data you collect.

| Do you plan to collect images, articles, videos, or music files?     | If yes, provide details.                                            |
| Do you plan to use the data for AI training?                         | If yes, provide details.                                            |

## After you submit

Many applications are approved automatically, unlocking the disabled features
straight away. Depending on your answers, some are reviewed by our legal team
first. Either way, we email you when you submit your application, and again once
a decision is made.

While an application is under review, the disabled features stay disabled. You
can submit the form only once: afterwards it is locked, whether it is approved
or declined.
